Ok for a start, hi.. I am back from my absence, I hope you did not miss me.
A question was asked to me a while ago and I have decided to answer it now.
“Dave, with all your wealth of knowledge and fingers in so many different pies, why are you not a guru?”
Ok so the question wasn’t exactly like that, but you get the drift.
So behold the Reason’s why I am not a guru.
1. I am too busy
2. I don’t want to share my revelations with others
3. My rise to power is secret and will be executed at a precise moment, when all factors are in my favour.
4. I am too busy plotting my rise to power.
5. I am coordinating a scheme to create a new humanity in Antarctica, a Flawless human race and a chance to start again.
6. I am trying to figure how to make this world domination run like clockwork without errors.
7. I suffer from a God Complex, a kind of extreme narcissism, which prevents me from interacting with the common people.
8. I am trying to hide my God complex and appear to be a normal person who wants to change the world.
9. I am too busy
10. I am catching up on Battlestar Galactica. It is a pity it took me so long to discover it, though I find flaws with both the humans and the cylons and believe I could do a better job.
11. I am fascinated with Gaius Balthier or however you spell it. I empathize with his struggle sometimes.
12. I have too much to do.
13. I believe learning things yourself is the best way to do things. I can point you in the right direction perhaps.
14. Guru’s are for lesser beings.
15. Classical music holds to many secrets for me to be a Guru.
16. I only use 20% of my brain, so how possibly can anyone be a guru of anything?
17. I have no desire to be one.
18. I don’t want to outclass the current guru community
19. I am too busy.
20. Because we all know that Gurus learn from someone else, the unrecognized one, the one who teaches the guru, a super guru if you must. If he were to lessen himself to a guru class, then who would teach the guru community?
So there you have it, a simple, accurate and brilliant guide to why I am not a Guru. If you want advice ask a Guru, but remember that Guru learned from something or someone else, and they are nothing more than what you could potentially be.
As for me, I’ll continue what I do and let the others do what they do!
(PS this is meant in humour if you hadn’t already figured, apart from the world domination speel, that’s 100% actual, but it’s a secret so don’t go telling!)
